Mr. Medina attended high school in Texas City, Texas, where he was born and raised. An avid Texas Longhorns fan, he then enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, where he served on the academic committee for his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, and earned a BBA from the McCombs School of Business. Afterwards, Mr. Medina attended law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, where he served as officer for several different organizations.
As an officer for South Texas’s number one ranked advocacy program, Mr. Medina competed against top advocates in both moot court and mock trial competitions. Additionally, he completed two years of service as a Law Review member, where he authored a comment on the emerging issues of immigration and citizenship. As President for the Texas Exes Society at South Texas, Mr. Medina organized and helped raise money both years as host for charity crawfish boils benefitting Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Houston.
Mr. Medina is a member of the Texas State Bar, Houston Young Lawyers Association, and Mexican-American Bar Association of Houston. In his spare time, Mr. Medina enjoys jogging, golfing, and watching college and pro football.
